Backyard pool set up for an evening party

À la carte

You don't have to sign up weekly to get real help.

Plenty of owners take care of their own pool and just want the hard parts handled, or a professional opinion twice a year. These are the pieces you can book on their own.

Book any of these on their own

Every job is quoted after we see the pool. Nothing here rolls into a recurring charge unless you ask it to.

Filter service plan — quarterly or semi-annual

Most owners are comfortable with a skimmer and a feeder. Tearing down a filter is the part most people are happy to hand off. Put it on a schedule and it simply happens: cartridges pulled and deep cleaned, DE grids inspected, bands and O-rings checked, pressure recorded clean so you know your real baseline. Cartridge and DE pricing differs; you get the number before we start.

One-time green to clean or drain to clean

The pool went green while you were traveling, or cyanuric acid has climbed past the point where chlorine does anything. Both are one-time jobs with a clear beginning and end. No contract, no ongoing commitment — though plenty of people decide afterward they'd rather keep the water there year-round.

Pool school and refresher courses

A full session for a new owner, or a shorter refresher for someone who has been doing it a while and wants a second set of eyes. Bring your test kit and your questions. Refreshers are popular in spring, before the season gets away from people.

Runtime and equipment check

Run time is the setting that most often comes up short on Central Texas pools. We confirm turnover for your actual volume and pump, set the schedule by season, check clean-filter pressure, verify valve positions, and look at how your cleaner and returns are circulating the pool.

Seasonal tune-up

Spring open-up, mid-summer check, fall pre-leaf-drop prep, or a winter freeze-readiness pass. A tune-up is a full test, an LSI correction, a filter and equipment review, and a short written plan for the season ahead.

Leaf season cleanup

Live oaks drop in spring, everything else drops in fall, and acorns and tannins stain plaster fast when they sit. A cleanup catches the pool up: heavy netting and vacuum, basket and cleaner-bag clearing, stain treatment where it will help, and a filter clean once the load is out of the water.

Pool startups

New plaster or replaster care through the first 30 days, when brushing schedule and chemistry decide how your surface looks for the next decade.

Vacation and short-term coverage

Heading out for a few weeks and don't want to come home to a swamp? Limited short-term coverage is available around the existing route.

One-time vacuuming

Most pools here have an automatic cleaner, so vacuuming isn't a weekly item — until a storm, a heavy leaf drop, a dust event, or a down cleaner leaves the floor covered. A one-time vacuum and net gets the pool swimmable again, on its own or as an add-on to a weekly stop.

Party, event, and holiday weekend prep

Graduation, a reunion, a Fourth of July crowd. Give advance notice and the water gets pre-treated so it holds a residual through heavy bather load, with a catch-up pass afterward. Last-minute calls before a holiday weekend are welcome too — we'll get it swim-ready, and clarity holds about a week without ongoing service.

Plumbing repairs and equipment replacement

Cracked PVC, leaking unions, bad valves, a filter or cleaner at the end of its life. Wet-side repairs and replacements are done in-house and quoted before anything is cut. Electrical, tile calcium removal, and mastic go to specialists.

What à la carte can and can't do

One-time work fixes a moment. It doesn't replace the thing that keeps a pool healthy, which is consistency.

  • A one-time cleanup will not hold if run time and chemistry go back to what caused it
  • A one-time balance before a party makes water swim-ready; it cannot be guaranteed past about a week
  • A filter plan protects flow, but the water still needs weekly attention from someone
  • Weekly service is offered as the full visit, so cleaning and chemistry stay in step
  • Plumbing and equipment replacement we handle; electrical, tile calcium removal, and mastic get referred out
  • Scheduling for one-time jobs works around the weekly route, so lead time varies
